Dhinesh performed for the Diwali light up @ Little India on 12/10/07. He sang Vasantha Mullai song from the film Pokirri & thrilled the audience. Check out the picture. Dhinesh's 23rd Birthday Celebrations

Our Vasantham Star darling Dhinesh celebrated with his loved ones at his residence on 10/10/07. He was given a surprise bash by his family & friends. He came back after dance practice at Mediacorp. He was very happy with the birthday bash. We have attached the photos taken at his birthday. I think the best birthday gift we can give him is helping him with his dreams of being the next Vasantham Star. He always seem to be top with the judges' rankings & low with the sms votes. We as fans should do our part for the finals by sms voting him crazily. Infact,it's our last chance. So let's all do it for our lovable Dhinesh. Happy Birthday Dhinesh!

Finally,the voting line has closed!

Finally the voting line has closed. Anxiety must be killing us! No doubts about Dhinesh entering the finals, but I believe it’s a sort of cheap thrill being eager till then. I hope Dhinesh supporters out there had sent numerous sms votes to support him. It is so nice to see those comments that fans have been sending Dhinesh via friendster. Though, some tend to be negative, I believe he would take it in a positive manner & he would strive all the way to be the next Vasantham Star. Let’s all pray for him & wish him all our best! 2 weeks to go......

Finally the selection for the Top 4 has arrived. There is 2 more weeks to know who is going to be the next Vasantham Star. During yesterday’s performance on telly, Dhinesh captured all our hearts with his “Kanna Kandenadi” & “Yennadi Muniamma”. I believe he received quite a lot of positive remarks from the judges. As die-hard fans of his, we would love to see him as our next Vasantham Star. We are requesting all Dhinesh supporters to sms for him as many times as you can. Vasantham Star Round 5

Today was the 5th round of Vasantham Star. Neela was eliminated. Though an improvement was spotted in her performance, she was still ranked very low in the ratings. Now, Dhinesh, Vignesh, Rekha, Devarajan & Ebi are left. Today Dhinesh came in 2nd with the judges ranking & 5th in the sms ranking. Overall, he came in 4th. It is quite saddening that he has high ranking with the judges but receiving very low sms votes. As a friend of mine mentioned, real talent ought to be recognized. So it is in our hands to see Dhinesh as our Vasantham Star. I request true supporters of Dhinesh to vote generously in the future weeks. Many have been commenting that Dhinesh’s “dapang kuthu” during the 2nd round today was awesome. He displayed his dancing ability that he has never made known. It is quite saddening how people can come up with so much of negative remarks (just for the sake of saying) when one puts in so much of effort in his/her performance. Well, personally I feel it is better to remain quiet than giving unnecessary comments. Whatever it is, lets await to see the top finalists. Anyway, I have displayed snaps of Dhinesh with his friends.

Dhinesh's interview on Oli (21/09/07)

Today, the Vasantham Star finalists were interviewed on Oli at 9.30pm. Vijaya was the one interviewing the contestants. It was a superb experience listening to some of the contestants sharing their thoughts about the show. When it came to Dhinesh’s turn, Vijaya asked him regarding support from his NUS mates. We felt Dhinesh answered her in a diplomatic manner. He was extremely sweet when he requested fans not to condemn other contestants. Everyone part of Vasantham Star is trying his or her best to come up with something. Even if one can’t encourage them, at least he/she need not offend others. As Sunday is nearing, lets wish Dhinesh all the best.
